Our Vision

To enable humanitarian and development organisations to maximise their impact, accountability and learning through monitoring and evaluation (M&E).

Why it matters

In the humanitarian and development sectors, organisations often face significant challenges in effectively monitoring, evaluating, and learning from their initiatives. Limited resources, complex contexts, and diverse stakeholder needs make it difficult to gather and analyse relevant data, assess impact, and adapt strategies accordingly. Traditional approaches to monitoring and evaluation often focus on communicating impact, but fail to provide feasible and actionable solutions to improve programming.

These challenges hinder organisations from maximising their impact, understanding what works and what doesn't, and continuously improving their practices. At Outsight International, we provide comprehensive monitoring, evaluation solutions that, together with our experience in strategy, innovation and sectoral knowledge, enable our clients to overcome these obstacles.

Our Approach

Blending Research, Strategy and Practicality

We recognise the importance of identifying, positioning and placing the right people, in the right place, at the right time.

Outsight International builds teams based around the specific needs of a project. Much like a Hollywood movie builds its production teams to match the right talent with a particular production, Outsight compiles the right expertise to tackle the unique and complex challenge. Outsight has a proven track record of delivering projects, working with clients to complete our project deliverables through a blend of Associates, Advisors and Strategic Partners who are global leaders in M&E and sectoral expertise. We also look to utilise our network of strategic partnerships with leading Monitoring and Evaluation actors to create the best value possible for our clients.

Ultimately, we look to facilitate a sector wide transition from euro-centric organisations being drivers of change, to supporters of change driven by the voices of the displaced and marginalised.

We provide monitoring and evaluation support for clients in various sectors, including humanitarian innovation, digital health, energy or UAS. Our team of experts possess extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E). We work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs, apply the most suitable M&E approach, and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.

Unlike most evaluation firms, Outsight can also incorporate sectoral expertise, as well as experience in strategy and innovation. This allows us to go beyond just drafting a report, and also supporting our clients to put meaningful and actionable recommendations into practice.
